Figured I would mix things up a bit and throw up a split bus project. I bought this bus in montana this past fall and had it shipped home. It had been off the road for years. I pretty much didn't touch it till this past sprin when I went ahead and freshened up the brakes and front end and slapped in a motor courtesy of steve. I put around a couple thousand miles on it just driving it around my area and up into traverse city area. Then I broke my shifter linkage and crawled it home in 3rd gear, I was only a couple miles from home luckily. So now its parked and I figured might as well do some more body work stuff while its down because once I get it driving that all I am gonna want to do with it.

one of the first thing i wanted to do was get rid of the crusty doglegs, i found some cheap originals on samba

i got lucky and scored a pair of bumpers.stripped this to og paint. it is just right for my bus now.
stripping door down. the front doors and nose were reprayed. rest of bus never painted in its 50 plus years of existence. it will be staying that way as long as it is in my hands.
