I was thinking about it for Saturday @ $15.00 a head that's cheep entertainment , pending the weather rock report . My boy has never been to the drags , and as far as drag racing like you said this is the Big Boys .

I am, at least Saturday, My friends live across the street from the dragway. They have a pig roast every year.

Looks like my Son and I are going to try to go Friday after work. If I get there around 5pm is that too late? Or, will there still be lots to see? Any idea what time it all ends on Friday?
Anyone else going Friday?

OK after seeing the TV adds for a week saying $15.00 . 4 of us drive an hour on Saturday early afternoon to see the big boys - pull up to the gate and the girl said that will be $140.00 , And I said that's not what the TV add said , so we pulled around to the side to ask one of the full time people ,His reply was " No only on Sunday an only if you go to Micky-D's and get something there . " So 2 hours of driving an no racing due poor Advertising .Note I kept this Clean .

Quickest mph I saw was 327.8. Good time next year I am going to try to be at Gilmores in the morning.

Fastest I saw was 317 from a dragster. The funny cars did not do well Friday night.

Kenn: There is another small cruise/car show tonight in Lakeview (part of Battle Creek) that I plan to go to. This is the one last year where my car caught on fire  I plan to use the free tickets on Sunday. Will be getting there around 10:45 am. -Bren |
