Pop up??

K-Mart has a 14x14 canopy/ easy up/ pop up on sale. My question is does the club need or want one?? It is on sale for $59.99 with my Sears/ K-mart discount about $50 bucks. Not sure if we need one, have a way to haul it(I do, but I don't make every event). Would you be interested in contributing for such a purchase. It has to happen before Saturday 6-13 as it is the last day of the sale. Say the word and I'll pick it up and the club can pay me back when able, no real hurry for pay back. Later Kenn

We need one for sure but it would be nice if it fit in a Bug but its not likely we will find a pop up that will and the other canopy's are too much of a hassle. If they have a yellow one get that otherwise a red or white. If none of those then get the next best color.

Dustin we do have a few Buses in the club now and there is tons of room in a Bus

Yep that's a good point AJ the only concern there is getting it to a Bus owner that is going to attend the show we would be attending. I guess the only solution is for me to get a Bus! Haha.

I'll pick it up tomorrow on the way home from work, only problem I can see is, it is steel not alumium like mine. May or may not be heavy, I'll check that out before laying any cash down. Later Kenn

I HATE, I repeat HATE, do I make myself clear HATE!!! K-mart. Called last night and they said they had 12 pop-ups, asked for them to hold one for me, no need to. She said. Well I got out of work early today and made a mad dash home to pick up the hitch hauler I forgot this morning. Got there and the gent behind the desk/ registrer said we've been out of them since day one of the sale. We have one for $129.99 and another for $189.99 both 14x14 told as nice I could I told him they could keep them and I would never grace the inside of their rundown, filthy, over priced for the crap they carry, store again. No wonder stores get bad press. I'll keep my eye out for one someplace else. Has the smoke cleared from my ears, Yet? I know Pep Boys carries them, maybe Harbour freight, anywhere else you all can think of. Later Kenn

Yeah you should be able to get a rain check but maybe someone else should ask for it haha. I think they sell them at Menard's too so my cousin could get us a 10% discount.

No rain check as they were a clearance item. And I've settled down as much as I can. Looked at the Gazette(Kalamazoo) ads this morning Meijers has them, Menards, MC. Sports as well as Pep boys. I'll check them out this week and report back! Is a 10x10 going to be big enough or do we want to try for a larger size? Mine is 10x10. Later Kenn

OK!! Stopped at Pep Boys after work they have a 10x10 alum. framed pop-up(just like mine). For $129.00, a 12x12 steel framed pop-up for $139.00 and a 14x14 SF. for 189.00 talked to guy at the counter and he said to wait they are all going on sale shortly. The 10x10 has a smaller folded size then mine, just not sure if it will fit in a Bug or not. I'll keep plugging a long on this. Later Kenn
