Started back in tonight. Have a big list of stuff to get ready for more welding on Friday. Tonight I got the front firewall repair panel fitted. That was not fun. Not easy to get at with the body down on the pan and all the cross braces still in place. Hopefully the rest will go faster.

Got a lot done this week. Weather was great today, work was slow, so I took an unplanned halfer! Front firewall is ready to weld in place: Front fender wells are ready for the patch panels to be welded: Rear inside quarters ready for welding: Rear bumper brackets have been removed. Not sure exactly how to take care of these. Stopped here and waiting for the experts tomorrow. Felt I should also wait for the experts before I cut here: Funky hole in the hood as well as one in the front inside quarter and tunnel are ready for repair with custom patch panels: Doors stayed pretty good but not perfect. Hopefully we can remedy that tomorrow. I hope this improves with the use of well placed jacks and the balance of the welding between the body and heater channels: Even got some of the ugly primer off the hood: Hopefully the car will be looking like this real soon ;D (minus the ugly primer, a little lower too with some smoothies all around!):

Hmm, might be some similiarities there. Kenn certianly is much nicer though! We might be doing some more welding Sunday. Won't be putting the body back down right away. I will need to zero rust the welded areas and inside the engine bay. Then the body to pan gasket needs to be installed along with the engine seals. Every time I think I am getting close to driving this I think of 5 more things that need to be done first.

It still has come a long way Bren and I believe you are going to drive this thing before the snow. And now that someone pointed it out Kenn does kinda look like Boyd but I agree Kenn is much nicer.

Looks like we are going to do some more welding tomorrow. Going to start around 1 in the afternoon. If anyone wants to join in send me a PM and I will get you directions and a phone number. Sorry for the short notice.
