Still one problem I have to fix Whenever I go over any little bump or theres a jolt in the car I have to keep my hand on the shifter to make sure it stays in gear, If I dont it always comes out of gear. Anyone know what this might be? Check your trans mounts, If they are shot, they allow everything to move around out back, and can cause it to pop out of gear going over bumps. It's a good idea to replace them now anyhow, especially since you have the engine out and you're planning to go bigger. Looking good! Rust is fun isn't it? Yeah, the mounts are totally discentegrated, Im pretty sure that is why the transmission was poping out of gear. Im converting to IRS so im getting a new trans and mounts.
Oh yeah. Rust is tons of fun!!!!
