I recently met a few of your members at the Mendon "Dust-Off" and they told me of this group.

I am currently working on a 73 Thing. It will be my week-end golf course and beach mobile.

I removed the heater out of it last night and it looks in good shape. I will be selling it or trading it for a roll/show bar, luggage rack, or other needed part.

I am looking for suggestions on seats to put in the "Thing", maybe some Jeep style, any ideas would be appreciated.

In the past I have had a 78 Bus, 74 Ghia, 72 Squareback, and two 74 "Sun-Bugs". I am glad to have a VW to dink around with on the weekends again.

Brendan, Kenn here.. We're (George) is having a show, the 16th in Battle Creek at Georges Hot VWs on 28th. Ave, ought to try and make it Glad you final found the time to do an Intro.
