I picked up a Bosch DVDA the other day and it didn't have a dust shield between the points and rotor. Seams like a lot of people have chucked them out over the years. Is it worth tracking one down?

I have seen Mikes trophy clear red cap. It is truly a thing to behold. I posted the same message on TheSamba to go fishing in a bigger pond. Apparently not all Bosch distributors came with them, and there appears to be no rhyme or reason to why they were installed on some and not others. Strange, but interesting none the less. |

Boy Mike, it's kind of disturbing on how many people claimed to have seen your Dizzy cap LOL
I personal like having the dust cover and, I have no ryem or reason why. Most all the 009 I have seen new have had them. I can't say that about any of the used ones.
