US 131 Dragway History

Thanks Aki good reading. Others may already know the history on the track but living in Michigan for only 4 years I never knew the history of the track.

I used to run my '66 Ghia at Martin in the late-60's. J/G. Never lost in my class (admittedly, there weren't many V-dubs running Gas classes back then). High-17s/low-18s sounds about right. Stock beetles rarely broke 20 sec back then.

True, never lost in J/G but usually got my doors blown off in eliminator runs. LOL.

There was another strip in Onondaga at the time. Ran there once. Don't wanna talk about it.
