Ok, It has been arranged and we are to have our GTG at the Formula K in Mattawan on Sunday August 24th at 2pm Kenn took the time to make sure it was alright with the owner and get us some parking spots and tables reserved. Now lets try to impress them with our turnout! Last year we went there and only had 2 VW's and 7 people! The rain scared them away I guess but we still had fun racing the karts. We also may have a championship style we keep track race series on the Karts. Now to the details...... Hey ya all, I just e-mail Dustin to inform him I set the date with Formula K, for the Aug club meet as the 23rd of Aug. They will be reserveing 12 to 20 parking spots, what do you think about a mini(size) car show? They have an eatery there or do we want set up a cruise to some where to eat after? say maybe Paw- Paw? Lawton? or Kalamazoo? I didn't give them an exact time, what do you think? Let's make it fun for all Later Kenn

I will keep the date open and I am getting excited to meet everyone. I tried to meet some of you at Gilmore's but it was just to hectic. Yes I am bringing the Ghia its been sitting to long.
Hope its Sunny for a huge turnout.

Kenn suggested that we cruise out to some place to eat after the GTG. On the Throttle Cable Breakage Thread this sounds cool.
But my wife is laying down the law again.... She would like to go too. No big deal right. The problem is that she works 3rd shift and needs to be back home at around 7:00 pm to get ready for work. So how long do these things last? Its my first one.

We usually hang out for about 3 hours before people start splitting off. We have alot of women who come with to the meets and we always have fun. Its not a men only thing by any means

Tell her to bring her pillow and sleep in the smooth ride of a VW. Or tell her Ruffuss' rear cargo area folds flat an air mattress and the hum of an air-cooled and she'll be fast asleep. All kinding a side I worked the graveyard shift for 13 yrs and I know what a bit-h it can be. Hope to see ya there, Kenn

Kenn my Ghia does not have a smooth ride it is rather bumpy sitting 4 inches off the ground. I have to look out for small cracks in the pavement. My wife is in the process of changing jobs right now. I don't know if she can make it. Lucky for me its a day shift now we can spend more time in the Vee-Dub.
