Anyone interested in going to this? I am thinking about it. I think it would be a cool show, especially since it is at JCWhitney. It is a 3.5 hour drive from Oshtemo (Kalamazoo). Show starts at 10am Chicago time which is 11am our time. So, if we leave Oshtemo at 7:00am we would be there at 10am Chicago time (allowing time for gas etc.). This is on a Saturday so we would have Sunday to recover.

I will have to see on this one its really depending on how my car preforms on the drive to Holland this weekend and funds. I do agree with Glen they are coming to our show.

UPDATE: We are thinking of going in "invisible" cars. I have a 8 passenger van that I am willing to drive if we share the gas expense. Who wants to go? I think we should make the effort, especially since they made it out to our show. 20% off at JCWhitney too.
Let's get a list going. Post up!

Marie just reminded me of one of those 'blood is thicker than oil' type activities for this Saturday. I might have to back out on going to Chicago this time. If so, would someone else be able to drive? Sorry, -Bren

Since Bren has other issues and since I live right down the road from the meeting place "Burger King" on 9th Street. I will be the go to guy on this one.
Harsh Winters was nice enough to drive in the rain to our show. We need to return the favor.
I got the OK from Wifey so I can go. I just don't own a "People Mover" vehicle. So what do we want to do here? Does some one own a van that we can ride in? A Bus would be cool!!
Or do we want to drive our VW's down? Since Sal took home the trophy. We should come home with their trophy.
Any ideas?

If we are going to come home with their trophy we need a nicer car than mine. I am all for driving the VW's its always more fun that way.

Ok then lets plan on driving the VW's. So who is interested? I will be driving the Ghia that I just installed the engine in. It drove excellent to Holland MI this will be the test before Effingham. I will try to plan the route do we want freeway driving or surface streets?

I would say I 94 to I 80 that is the most direct root. Just because the speed limit is 70 doesn't mean we need to do 70.
