It was mentioned that there was interest in a Spring Pre-Season Tune Up Session the only problem was where do we do it. Well bigalvb has volunteered his place for us to do so in Allendale. A few of you have been to his house to help with his unique Bug. He has a small garage and a paved driveway with plenty of room. Hopefully the weather will hold up. Well anyway we cant do it without cars to work on so what does everyone have? Keep in mind we want to keep this down to Oil Changes/ Valve Adjustments/ Fluid Changes/ Points/ Plugs and Wires/ Timing and Carb Adjustments/ Diagnosis/ Etc. Also the date we are shooting for is the 18th a week before the show.
So lets get a list going and a list of those bringing tools and know how.

Also like a moron, when I put my pulley back on I forgot to put the engine tin that sits behind it back on, so I could do that too.

That's too bad Kenn, What time is it over with maybe you can still make it? OK so we have Jerry for timing and tins and Dave for an electrical issue.

I can be available on the 18 at any time. I will be able to to oil changes, valve adjustments. tune ups and timing adjustments. If any one has wiring issues let me know ahead of time so I can prepare the correct wire diagram. I will bring tools and some supplies. Remember to gather all of your tune up parts and oil change stuff before the GTG and bring it along.

Please post a full gps friendly address and Ill try to show up. I should be done with the headliner by then so mechanically I dont have much left to do but mess with the shifter (bushings?) and maybe change out the trans fluid.

Hey all! Can't wait to see some of you for the second time and some for the first time! I hope to have my 70 back and I think the brakes have an issue. It's currently @ the upholstery shop but they're taking their sweet time so I may have to bring it home for this event since there will be a lot of knowledge here. Would also like to change my tranny fluid (*how many quarts needed?*) and look at my shifter. Also where can I get a brake light switch or two as the one brake light doesn't work? Address is: 10501 Mapleview Ave, Allendale, 49401. Real easy to get to from almost anywhere. The more the merrier, right? I promised my wife she doesn't have to cook again and she may not even be here. Quite a few restaurants around and I'll ice down a bunch of soda and provide coffee. Hope to see lots of you here; any questions/concerns, please ask.
Alan

I am not sure if I can be there or not. Still sorting out our schedule. I will let you know.
Can't think of anything to do on my car that is urgent. I would like to get the dome light working though. Today on the way home I found my oil bath air cleaner to be leaking oil. Might need to have the experts look at that if I can't figure it out by then. Otherwise I will help where I can.
