OK with the Buggy Builders show being this Sunday I was thinking we would have our Meeting following the swap at the Nuthouse right across the street. Then have an official GTG for April somewhere in the Holland area. Suggestions? Thoughts? 420 East Michigan Avenue Lansing, MI 48933 517-484-NUTS (6887) www.nuthousesportsgrill.com

A while back someone mentioned the idea of getting together for a basic tune up session to get ready for the season.

Bren, you can use Ruffuss for the session if you want lots of room to work/see/adjust on inside of the engine compartment. He really doesn't need a tune but is available to work on if needed. Later Kenn

:)Hi Everyone. My daugthers room is pretty much done and the other room I need to do is alot smaller so I am almost caught up again until my wonderful little girl comes home. Were still waiting for that Visa from Detroit. I like Brens idea of a tune up session somewhere. Since we put the engine back in last year it has not moved since then. Yesterday would have been a wonderful day to have it out. I would welcome a tuneup session. John in Plainwell

Steak N Shake is right next door to Sams Club also Perkins is right next to that and Pizza Hut so we have options. Where and when are we going to have the Tune Up Session?

I would like to not be the one organizing this.... So, who wants to take this event on and put it together?
Here is an idea, we could copy the format of the TDI club. They would list things people need done and then get volunteers to help with those items. They got together at someones shop where there was plenty of room to work on multiple cars.
I think we should try to help get small tasks done on as many cars as possible in one day instead of working on just one car as a demo.
If this is what we want to do I would like help getting my horn to work. Got a new horn today and it worked fine. ;D

Anyone have ideas where we could hold an event like this? Anyone have a pole barn space we could use?

Anyone?
How about starting a list of things people might want to work on in this tech session if we find a place to hold it.

:)Good Day All!! I hope to get the bug started today as I didnt have time yesterday and take it down the road. I was able to get the gas peddle up so we will see how it works. I would like to learn more on how to do a tune up and check the brakes. This would be the first time having it on the road since last years engine fix. I would host the meeting if my two car garage would work. Thanks everyone. John in Plainwell

Hey all. My 70 is at the upholstery shop BUT hopefully will be out by the 26th (better be!). It was flatbedded over so I still don't know, but am potentially concerned, about the condition of my brakes. And this is the area that I have absolutely NO knowledge of whatsoever. I have lots of space at our house with a big asphalt driveway and parking space but only have the small barn and a double garage. If you guys are interested, let me know. If the weather is nice, it could work maybe...

That could work, Not everyone needs to be inside as we want to do mostly small things.
