Well my trusty 95 E150 destroyed oil pump #2 last night and I aint puttin in another one without the attatching engine. The poor dear has been abused till I got it and all the castrol and engine flushing in the world cant undo the damage done by years and years,,, and I think years of penzoil and 7-9000 mile oil changes. the sludge is impressive. I was driving from detroit home when the oil pressure gage made a jump for the red and then the clattering began. I made it home (knowing the engine is allready lunch, I just went for it) and might have a line on a nice 92 mustang motor (same short block) for 200.00 Ill inspect it and if it looks ok Ill put er in soon. If not Ill be looking for a good 5.0. needless to say this is going to take valuable time away from putting the headliner in my bug (grrrrrrrrrrrrrr) but gotta do what I gotta do. Im probably going to have to put the bug back on the road early but if it snows Im walking!!!!!

Sorry to hear that about your van. If I had a running VW I would rather like to be driving a VW then my Rusty Truck. Soon spring will be here and warmer weather will start.

I still can't believe you drove the car that far with no heat. That had to be a cold ride.

I thought about one of those. Im thinking they can put out much heat and would probably catch fire anyway. Ive been thinking about some heat options though. I went to drop of the kids to sunday school this morning and it is unpleasent... Dan

What is unpleasant? Your ideas or the lack of heat?
