I am new to this club, but let me know what I can do to help. I do have some stake signs that say "VW Show" with direction arrows if you need them. (from an old club) I think I have 3 or 4 of them still.
thanks,

guys, where have I been lately..not sure. Anyway, so glad you guys are picking up the ball on all of these GTGs...you guys are organized, dedicated and fun to be around. You do a great job. I plan on being there for this show and as we get closer, will probably be available to volunteer. A couple of issues we always ran into was, making sure the parking lot was cleared out the night before and putting out markers to assure it's availability the next morning. We used shopping carts roped together. Also, there wasn't any electrical outlets outside the building. We had to run a cord from inside the little side door. If you can do without juice..all the better. Sometimes Sams would wave the need for a member card for the day allowing spectators to use the restrooms. other times we rented porta jons(I'd just do that and avoid the hassle). I have a ton of stuff to unload, too. cool.

Good to hear from you Ron, Hope to see you around more! Thats probably a good idea with the porta jons just to be safe. Also cleaning up and roping off our area the night before. I will be available to help with that as well Rudy.
Also thank you very much for the compliments! We have a lot of great people that make this Club so great. I have met so many great people and made so many new friends from all this its amazing.

Hey Rudy! Well, I don't know if I'll be much help, but I'll at least attempt to show. If I can make it I'll certainly be willing to lend a hand where necessary. I don't feel I could reliably volunteer for any specific function as I don't really have any idea yet if I'll have that day free.
Concerning the entries: I understand any air-cooled VW can be entered and the price of admission is a donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society?

The entry can be any air cooled VW and we are asking for a $15 or better donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Hope you can make it to the event. We will certainly have something for everyone to do if you can help. Thanks! Rudy

Brian, Bring the stock stuff someone is always cruiseing the swap meets looking for deals on stock parts. You never know what will be available and what will sell, so bring it all. Rudy, I'll help in any way I can. I can't hear, lift, run or excert myself but alway willing to lend a hand, where ever, when ever it has to do with the club and it's growth. Later Kenn

Dave, I have lots of stock parts...lots of 40 hp stuff and sp stuff...shrouds, gen...blah, blah. I'm going to have to get rid of it this spring...hate to scrap it. would rather let it go for cheap to someone who could appreciate it. After I return from spring break, 4-10...I'm going to start on it. Believe me, there's a lot.
