Saturday July 25 9th Annual Grandview Bend Cruise In 2:00pm to 4:00pm 4630 N. Howe IN Its a small car show in Howe Indiana. This show is put on by the campground that my Grandparent stay at. I have always wanted to go and show some support but the Ghia was never finished. This time it is and I want to fill the place with VW's. Also when down in Indiana we can stop by the Essenhaus (An Amish Restaurant) for some good food. www.essenhaus.com/More details to come |

Sounds good! I had been thinking about a possible tour to the Essenhaus too. A car show makes it even more interesting! Can't decide which kind of pie to have.............

Hey guys peanut butter pie/Homemade vanilla ice cream is my favorite. If you leave there hungry it's your own fault. we usually order chicken(broasted) and roast beef(that melts in your mouth) with home made egg noodles, corn, smashed tato's with gravy, stuffing, salad, then you have save room for the pie. We go at least once a year at schools out. The gals will like the shops for anything from quilts to yarn and everything inbetween. Also the bakery and food stuff. Can we go now and again after the car show PLEASE!!!!! Later Kenn

I may be in after all. Karen's family postponed their meeting, so I'm not tied to it. If I can move enough to get into Ruffuss, I plan on going. Not going to miss dinner this time around. Later Kenn

So far is Ruffuss and myself. I was kind of hopping for a better turn out. There is still time I don't know of any conflicting shows. So if your are bored with nothing to do tomorrow meet us at McDonald's parking lot 9th street and I94 at 12:00 noon. We will wait a few minutes for stragglers.

It was a great show tons of door prizes were awarded everyone that showed got two prizes. Hot-dogs and drinks were available. Only 12 cars showed up they were expecting more and I was expecting more VW's. Only Steven and I went in the Ghia. I think the coolest cars there was the 2 Ford Model T's. I will be going again next year.
