For that remark, Steven, YOU, will NOT be driving it...in 17 years. ;D
Don't expect much to start out fellas! I'm not going to paint it or fix the fire damages, but, I would like to get to the track with it, even if I'm only making 18 second passes. The plan is to get the car sorted out, then, add power later. I'll be starting with a fuel injected 1600, 33x30 valves and all. So far it has received: Lightened flywheel Flywheel seal 009 distributor with electronic module Scat/solex 35mm dual carbs Power pulley Oil change And... Maybe a 1-1/2" merged header
I have a pair of 35X32 valves heads that I'll clean up and have ready in case I feel like swapping them out.
The future could see a 1641, or a little more potent 1641, or a 1915, and, ultimately, the 2110.

What flywheel seal did you use? I used to like Elrings red/orange silicone seals, but it seams like the material has changed recently, like they are a bit harder than they used to be. Someone suggested Victor Rinze makes good flywheel seals as well, but I have no idea what they are made from. Any suggestions?

I have a small stockpile of old elrings. That's what I use for now.

I'll bet you can get that fire damaged beast into the low 17's. I know it can be done with a fire damaged 68 even with a stock carb........... LOL.
Looking forward to having you racing with us this year for sure. Are you shooting at Apr 4 to be on the track? That's my date for the 67.

No guarantees Rudy. I'd love to make April 4, it's not impossible...
For the future, I picked up the following: New cb 76 mm crank New Cima/mahle 94 mm p+c's 1.4 forged ratio rockers MSD 6al box, billet dizzy, wires, blaster coil, two step controller, and two selectable rpm switches A pair of dell 45's A dry sump oil pump and tank And a few other odds and ends
I also have a "built" trans that I've holding on to for a couple years, that will go in, eventually.
