That's a pretty good drive for sure. We at Harsh Winters have at least two shows we always attend, and we need to establish more(cough, cough). The Mid America show in Effingham in June,(over 700 VWs) and the Circle City show in Indy in October,(over 100 VWs). Both around 4 hours away and we always make a two day event of them since they are on Saturday! Maybe we sure try to have our show changed to Saturday instead of Sunday too!

Bug-A-Palooza; Harsh Winters show is a must go event, not only because you are going to have a great time and hang around cool peoples ;D but because it is for a great cause, I'm proud to part of this event and can't say enough good things about everyone involved to make this show possible, believe me, once you attend, you'll never be the same.

Ok, Harsh Winters Bug-a-Palooza 6 is next weekend. We are all geared up for it. I'm posting this out here as a reminder and as well an invitation to the Pre- BAP party. We did this last year and it was a great time. The show is on Sunday, so, on Saturday, I will be smoking a brisket on one smoker and ribs on another. Come by anytime after 3pm, your welcome to spend the night. The rooms are taken but there's room on the floor for sleeping bags.

So, we need to start talking about our plans for this show. I definately want to go.
Some were talking going but in 'invisible' cars. I can drive my van if that is what we want to do. It is a 8 person van. (I don't have a car I could drive there right now anyways.) What do we want to do? Who is going?

My Dad and I are planning on driving Spash as of right now. My car is under the weather still and pretty much down for the season unless I pull the motor and swap in one I have on the stand.

Glad to hear a good group is coming down again. I can assure you it will be nothing like our 1st Spring Jump Start some of you attended in the spring. We expect over 100 VWs, good food and things to do for the kids and adults.

I for one had a GREAT!! time. Good food, outstanding air cooled of every kind. Neat swap and well organizied event. The Harsh Winters Club did an outstanding job of getting every thing done. We got some good ideas and will share them everyone next time we meet. Their club gets it done. Thanks Bren for driving us down and All who made time to go. Later Kenn
