I am thinking of going to this show this year. Who is in? August 23rd, 2009. Last year it was held at D'Arcy VW, Joliet, IL. Mapquest shows this as being 2.5 hours from the Burger King on 9th St. in Oshtemo (Kalamazoo for you out of towners). If they use the same location for 2009 I think we could do this in one day, unless it starts very early in the AM. Harsh Winters Bug-a-Palooza 6 will be held August 23rd as mentioned. Registration from 9-12 Judging from 12-1 and ending at 3pm. Top 20 trophies, Best engine, interior, paint, loudest engine, loudest stereo, Peice of Crap, Best of Show, D'Arcy Choice, Gigis Choice. All proceeds to benifit Gigis Playhouse www.gigisplayhouse.org This is an organization that helps families with Downs Syndrome. Dj music, commercial sized jumper for kids, small jumper for little ones, door prizes galore, food cooked by dealership- cost is donation which also goes to Gigis Playhouse. Chalk-a-Bug for kids and adults, Push-a-Bug contest, dunk tank and more. We had over a hundred VWs there last year!! Swap too!! $10 registration and $10 for swap spaces!!! Goody bags, Dash Plaques and Show T-shirts for the first 100!!! WOW $10 bucks and you get a t-shirt too!!! Hope to see you there! Big Joe(Gehackt) |

I think we can make this work folks. 2.5 hour drive from Kzoo plus we gain an hour as we go west! Lets get this one on our calendars.
