Just FYI, I recently painted some smalls with VHT Engine Enamel. Followed the directions on application and curing in the oven at 200deg. F. That stuff turned out really tough. Much harder than other rattel can stuff I have used before. I tested their "chemically resistant" claim with a rag and some acetone. Nothing came off on the rag. Nice stuff. Just thought I would throw that out there for you guys if you are interested in something that gas and oil won't wash off instantly. Out of curiosity, has anybody used brush on farm implement primers and paints? TSC has red oxide primer and catalized implement brush on paint. I bought some front brake backing plates that were primed with the red oxide primer, and it seemed like pretty tough stuff. A can of brush on paint could cover a lot more than rattle cans for the same $. That hardening catalyst is attractive, and it would be easy to touch up with a brush at the end or each year or so.
