Was lots of fun. I learned all the things I screwed up on my last motor build. Its amazing it ran so well!! Ignorance is bliss. I still need a headlamp cover.
The drive in Allee Was CCCCCCcccccccccccccccccccccccccold I stopped at miejers on the way home and picked up long jons and thick socks and the drive home went smooooth.
Think she is ready for road trippin but Im going to put a lot of insulation it it to get rid of a lot of the wind roar over the hood and to quiet the engine down a bit.

Thanks for posting the photos Steven. Nicely done.
Great event today.
Everything went very well. Great attendance. Nice to see new and familiar faces.
Thank you very much to Greg for coming up with the idea for this tech session. It was very well received. You did a great job! Very organized and thorough. I like the idea of finishing the motor in a fall tech session.
And of course, thanks to George and Debbie for hosting us again.

I think this was a very unique GTG, the fact that Greg does not do crowds, he was very engaging, informative, and knowledgeable.
Always nice to see our Club members..will be even better when we are all able to drive our VW's, and NOT need long johns to do it ;D

Very fun and successful GTG, Georges is a nice place to have a meeting plus it benefits his business! Nice to see 3 VW's out there. Finishing the motor at the fall GTG would be awesome!
