Nice concept but non-ferrous materials would fall, drip and run ring under you or over the light. I think that there is enough talent in the group to improve on it, like making it from something lighter that will clean up instead of soaking up oil, ribbing or mesh to create an airspace to reduce sweating. have mushroomed eyeball lights to direct closer to the work area, removable battery with charging jack It could even have heat or fans for comfort.

Bren, are you saying you need a Lincoln? Or someone to work on your Lincoln? ;D That would be a nice unit but it is still to tall to fit under your bug. Thanks Dave T

Actually saw one for sale on the way home today. Way too much money though. I like the cart idea. Seems to answer many problems. I don't think the wood would be that bad. Old ones were wood. Like the brake and lights and magnet. Very cool ideas.

I wonder how many times he's bumped his head on the wall as he's looking to make sure the car doesn't scrape the wall? The wood on the sides of the garage must be an old school proximity sensor

Rudy, David and Bren at NCVWDRA second race 2012. Dragway 42.
Rudy beat Bren in round one. David also won round one. Rudy lost a tight race in round two. David won round two. Round three, David went out with a -.003 red light. So close! David took third place overall!
We had a great time. Looking forward to the next race, July 21.
