We have slowly been plugging away on this pig. We have the pan stripped down and painted. Eric just got all his new brake lines and hardware in the other day. The brake stuff is being put on tonight. Hopefully soon he can get some replacement metal ordered, so we can really start making some headway.

i am stuck i decided to bring the car home and work on it in my driveway. it was getting to hard to find time to drive an hour to work on it. i have cut out the old heater channels and the rear cross members, got the new heater channels and put the body back on the pan and have been attempting to weld the in. attempting was the key word i have come to the conclusion that i can not weld. i am hoping someone is willing to lend a hand but they have to be ready for a challenge, i think anyway i just may be retarded. one of the many problems i am having is that the city does not like the fact that i have an inoperable car in my driveway i have until Wednesday the 17th to get it operable or off the premises. once the heater channels are welded in i wont have a problem but i can not for the life of me get a decent weld and if i keep going there is going to be nothing left to weld to. any help would be appreciated Fitz

Are the areas you are trying to weld clean? Free of any rust, and other debris? I might be able to come up on Sunday, and help.
