1968 has a lot of one year only bits. I'm just learning all this as well since I picked up my 68 westy. This thread on thesamba is a good collection of information about the 68 only parts: www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=307958&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0I've bought things from both these vendors with no regrets: bustedbus.com used parts bus-boys.com new parts If you need body repair panels, find a good cutting from a bus, buy Klassic Fab or Autocraft. Lucky for us there's an Autocraft distributor just over the border in Canada. www.eastcoastcornerstore.com/

I have a '68 parts bus. Not much left on it though. What are you all looking for?

Front beam. camper interior stuff. (except for maybe the jump seat.) shell. pop-top. some glass. Most doors are shot. Front bumper might be good to use.
Not in a real hurry to part it. My '69 should be back from paint within a month. I want the '68 around to pick from as I put the '69 together.
What do you need?
