I will plan to drive my van again. What we did last year was meet in the parking lot under the Lansing center. Everyone piled in with their stuff and we drove in and set up the booth. Well, I don't know what everyone else thought of today's show, but I enjoyed it. I was able to find just about all of the parts that I had on my list and was able to visit with others from the group. I still have a heck of a time putting a face with a real name with a name on the web page.

Usually I get to the show on time and have a great time and get some stuff I need. This year got there kinda late 2pm, and everyone was allready breaking down even though the show ends at 4pm. On a good note I didnt end up buying anything! I went to meet up with fellow Goodvolks members for the after show dinner and could not for the life of me find the place. So I ended up eating in Saginaw instead. Had some good mongolian BBQ..

It was good to see everyone at the show. I came home with less stuff than I left with even though I wasn't selling. Makes Beth happy!

Great seeing everyone! The show actually ran better this year, so Mike is actually listening and trying to solve issues. Unfortunatly I missed the mark on what people were looking for and had a crappy day of selling. Its been a lotta years since I missed the mark this bad. Its always a good time at Lansing, also means SPRING is around corner.

I thought the show went well. Nice crowd.
Our booth seemed to attract lots of attention especially with the video running all day.
Thank you to everyone that helped with the booth; club promotion, bug run promotion etc. I think it was a success.
I had an idea near the end of the day.
BnL is sponsoring the Bug Run.
They also sponsor Dune TV (who provided much of the video footage.)
BnL has the largest most professional booth/display there.
Maybe next year we should combine our booth with theirs somehow.
I think to do this we would have to step up our game and our image. We would need a more professional look to match BnL's.
Do you think this idea is worth looking into?

By this I mean the look of our booth....
Maybe a US131 Bug Run banner instead of the generic US131 banner.
Have a better way to display our club banner.
Etc.

Sounds good. Maybe start another thread in off topic and club people can start spitballin' ideas and we will see what sticks. I think only club members can view "offtopic?"
