Driver side heat channel kinda crusty, all 4 fenders rusty or dented. Floor seems solid, but as you can tell from pics not alot of room to check it out. Engine turns by hand, guy claimes he had it running on a seperate can of gas. Body rusty by drivers rear wheel. He offered it to me for 2K, think I could beat him up on the other one with no title. I think with some new fenders it could be cleaned up and driven as on original paint ratrod?  ? |

Looks cool.
Too bad the fenders are not nicer. Would be cool to run as a patina car. Would be hard to duplicate the faded original look on new fenders. Maybe you can patch the heater channel?
Do you think you could get both cars for $2000?

Or, you could do it up like this car:  www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1385364You could prepaint some repair panels for the fenders and glue them in from the backside using autobody panel adhesive. Could do that to re-install the front bullet turn signal. |

The guy hasn't dug it out, so I can take a closer look, yet. So no additions to the BARN,YET!!!!!!
