I don't know the weight rating, but it has a pretty heavy frame. The rest is sheet metal. I think with a solid floor, like aluminum or plywood, it would be solid. I bought it so I can drag swapmeet stuff HOME. I bought some stuff at FT. Wayne and had to wrap it up so I didn't get grease all over my truck. Show trucks don't make the best JUNK haulers!!!  I thought this trailer was cool, plus I didn't see too many with the top, and the most important reason it was CHEAP!!!! ;D |

You need to see how many milk crates fit inside of it. I got curious today and it will fit 18 milkcrates. 3 long, 3 wide, and 2 high with more room to spare and lid down. ;D ;D ;D |

I haven't decided how its going to be painted. I need to figure out how to hook this to the DC without drilling holes in the bumper. I've even thought about polished aluminum skin. They sell it at the camper surplus places for $42 for a 4x8 sheet.
I do plan on being at the fall bugrun.

The reflecters are screwed on. I have been thinking what to do for lights. I like the idea of matching lights, but not wanting to cut holes. I was thinking about magnetic L.E.D's, maybe little VW symbels.

Old steel ironing boards are the best. I can put alot of weight on them. They collapse and don.t take a bunch of space. I have three, a 4x8 sheet of plywood and the ironing boards make a huge heavy duty temporary bench. ;D
