For those who haven't followed facebook and didn't know. My Grand-daughter(Steven and Jamies, little one) Addison. Has her surgery tomorrow morning. At Motts Childrens in Ann Arbor (Uof M) about 10ish. She'll be in ICU for up to 48 hrs. Keep her in your thoughts and for those who pray, please do! She's a tough little bird I'll keep everyone posted as to what's happening when I can. Thanks Kenn

Ok, so we have been bumped again! Ugh....Having a toddler who has been asking for food and drink since 7:30 this morning, is going to kill us! Please pray for all of us!! We need patience!! We will let you all know when we know more for now they are saying 1:00p.m.

she is out of surgery..... we will be seeing her in ICU in a little bit.

she has some Iv's out, cath is out, pic line is out ( the one in her neck ). Jamie got to hold her already this morning. Going to try to get her to eat some clear/light food. She is still in ICU, only because there are no beds avalible on the 11 th floor. I keep updating on facebook.

They have removed most of the lines, she still has a few and her chest tube! She is uncomfortable and is playing musical family members, lol She will only let you hold her for about 5min or less. She is still in ICU but is doing very well. Please say a prayer that she brings up her numbers so that we can avoid a blood transfusion and that she starts peeing!! And for comfort for her and all of us who hate to see her hurting!! But Go Addy you are a rockstar!!! So very proud of you. When we get to the 11th floor you may come and visit at the discrestion of Addison, send balloons, cards, or flowers and I will post room number here. She is going to have to walk around when we get there so pray for her to be strong and want to play!!

She's in her own room on the 11th floor. Grandma and I will probably go home later tonight so I can sleep in MY! own bed. If you've ever tried to sleep in a hospital room you know what I'm saying. May come back up, may not?? Thanks for the thoughts, prayers, wishes and thoughts. She is well on her way to her normal happy self. Except for a Doctor, nurse or health care person. She laid sleeping holding my hand with a grip of steel for the hour & a half they left her along this afternoon. Hand is still numb but wouldn't trade it for anything. She is a real trooper! Again THANKS VW FANILY!! We Love you all and appreciate it all. If your in or around Ann Arb.or she can now have visitors

Alright Addison has a fever please say those prayers!!! Let this be nothing!!! at 100.5 so far and we are shaking. The nurses are in here and taking care of her!!! Please do not let her get sick or have an infection!!! They are just moitoring her because she has not put out enough fluid from her chest and her urine output, so no emergency yet but monitoring! So proactive prayer never hurt anyone!!  So people we have left the ICU!!! Addison is on the 11th floor if you all want to come and visit her. 11 west room 53. She is the one in charge and will dictate wether she has visitors, wether she has her meds ,or wether or not she wants to... If you need to call message me and I will give you the info you need. Thanks we should be here until Friday at least maybe Saturday, it all depends on her chest tube and when it can come out!!!! Addy just walked down the hall on her own ( well kinda, with holding momma's hands ). She walked about 50 yards. 24 hours out of surgery.

I don't think Visitors are a good thing just out of surgery,Keep Her Germ free!!!!! NO VISITOR!! Until the fever brakes, Mike beat me to it. You get screened before you can visit anyway. You can't move around that hospital without a (hall) pass for what floor your to visit. Must have been tired, I slept in this morning, 6am. unheard of! |
