Dorr July 4th Parade 2012

We'd like to invite everyone to be in the Dorr parade on July 4th 2012. There is no registration or cost. We can meet at our house before the parade if needed (it starts just around the corner from us). Line up is at 9:00am and the parade is at 10:30. Parade route is just about 1 mile. It usually lasts about an hour. We can pass out our fliers to promote the Bug Run. The rules say not to, but there is usually tons of candy thrown at this parade so if you just want to watch that's good too or bring candy to throw!

PM Teeniebits or TeamAFX if you need directions. Using US131, use the Dorr exit (exit 68) or 100th St (one exit North).

Bren & Marie
Beth & (only if he is good) Rudy

Dave T +1 or 2
Mike and Robin
Possibly Dustin

Just show up if you can make it last minute!

We will have lunch at our house after the parade, bringing a dish to pass would be very welcome You are welcome to stay all day/evening to see fireworks at night - we just sit in the front yard for them here. Bring your own chair please

I can drive it by myself. Just don't want to drive it in a parade by myself.
Going to use the day to finish installing gauges in the '64.

What a great time! Thank you Steve and Tina for hosting this event. I sure heard a lot of "slug bug yellow" coming form the crowd. We had a ball throwing candy to the kids.

Hope we can do this again. Can't wait until next year.

Thank you all for coming out to drive in the parade - its fun to hear all the "slug bugs" in the crowd when they see you coming! The parade even impressed John!
