So anyone know how many show cars/vendors/racers were there? I believe we ended up with 55 show cars registered. Not sure on the other counts.

Scrap half the sticky stuff off the Starting line ;D ;D ;D ;D Really? I mentioned to Michael (US131 staffperson) about not over prepping the track and he got word to the people who were just going over to prep the track. I tried.

Normally, they overprep the track and let it settle down do there isn't as much down time. The Vht that they spray is watered down. But still very sticky. They are us to high powered V - 8 cars.

Wow, what a great turn-out and a great set of photos. I had so much fun last year at the fall event, and was very bummed that I missed this one. Finger crossed though, should have my bug back this week!

Hey volunteers: How did it go yesterday? Any recommendations where we can improve? Did you hear any comments/complaints from participants that we can learn from?

Hey volunteers: How did it go yesterday? Any recommendations where we can improve? Did you hear any comments/complaints from participants that we can learn from? Ok I have one. The only problem I had is when the racers that drove by as I was helping out the swap people. Some of the racers would ask where they needed to turn their paper work into and where do they get their cars teched out at. I just did not know. So I would just like to be more informed about the drag racer side of things so I can answer questions when they come up. Other than that I felt that the show went excellent everyone that I met seemed happy. I did not see anyone really up set with things.

Hey pikeman you need one of these! lowbugget.com/thebar.htmlAJ, You should know where the tech booth is as we had to go there when we had our Test N Tune last fall. But I agree that info should have been provided.

I thought the whole process was good. I thought the reg. was good but if we were to have more cars in the future it would be good to set it up further away, other than that the judging was a great idea except for Bren who paid the voters to vote for both of his cars. HAHA jk.

He didn't pay anyone, just added his #'s in invisable ink that didn't show until it sat for awhile. Here it goes again, start stageing the entery point at or near the specator grandstands, that way people have to stop and move on at a more relaxed pace. You park specators in their place, direct show cars to regisrtation tent, swappers and racers to the next point and so on. Also maybe signs to help answer question and give directions as what is going on. Arrow points the way type of sign. I think it all was pretty smooth but needs a little tweaking to make it better, faster, easier, etc. Later Kenn

I like it Dave. We need to get that Good Volks account going on You Tube and put this on there along with the others.
