I don't know exactly how many but I believe more than last spring, about the same as last fall.
I had a great time, nice to see old friends and make new ones.
The only improvement I can think of is maybe to direct traffic at an earlier point, stage it at or near the show tent check in.
Nice to have friends, family and general public, enjoy our cars. Visiting and meeting at a central point aka members tent, maybe for the fall run we can have like a snack potluck kinda a thing. Just my 2 cents. Later Kenn

Does anyone know about the white baja with the rag top b/c I have fallen in love with that car; I've always had a soft spot for bajas. I wonder if it COULD be for sale?
I agree with Kenn, each bring some food to share maybe even a small grill for hotdogs or something IF that's permitted...

I wonder if we could change the event date so we could get more volks folks to attend. I heard there was a HUGE event in Ohio this weekend (that I was willing to drop everything and attend at a moments notice with the slightest provocation  ) And that this is a draw away from our event every year. Still it was a great turn out and was a helovalota fun. I really wish we had more swappers (and frankly with better stuff) There were no dudes selling new vw parts and I was kinda in the market for a clutch and some mounts (Ill pick em up at MAM ) Also why cant I find any red door covers.... anyway.... It was fun. I got to see Giastiens rat bus (lotsa potential, but lotsa metal repair needed) And had Alley running faster then I usually feel comfy, what is the deal with all of you driving 80 and above? Anyway no harm done that I could see and I made it home before 10pm. Dan |

Great event and great pics everyone! Good to meet 2 new members of the VW community, I think as far as the feedback the dash plaques and the awards should be more VW oriented. In past events the plaques and awards have had the same picture as the event t-shirt or theme for the year. Might make them more desirable. Also Dan I think we were all a little hungry and feeling racy after the event! HaHa.
