This is realy cool. Its amazing that there are cars hidden away like this. www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=327934This is my 1959 Lowlight Ghia. It was found in SHedd Oregon, small farm town. The car broke down and the original owner just parked it. after all the years went by of sitting, Blackberry bushes covered the car so you actually could not see it at all. The old man died and the estate went for sale. The person who bought the property was clearing out the shrubs and blackberries and there it was! after 30 Years of sitting there!
It's had a Full 5 Page Feature and Centre Page A3 Poster in the June 2006 Edition of VolksWorld Magazine. I also have the Magazine in pdf format if anyone wants to download it and check out the Feature: www.megaupload.com/?d=ZJ12M690
It has since had a Volks Fab 4" Narrowed Adjustable Beam, CB Performance Dropped Spindals, the Rear dropped 1 Inner Spline, a set of Original Raders and now JGE Torkers. Engine wise it is now running a 1641 with Twin genuine Italian Webber 36's, 4 into 1 Ceramic Header and Single Quiet Pack. It has also had a new Interior.
I also have all the Original Paperwork/Invoice from 1959!
