Just wanted to thank everyone that was there, and a special thanks to Ray for use of the shop. Hope I can help sometime with others members projects. And yes, the parking brake does INDEED work alot better on my bug now....Patrick, the wife & I pushed it halfway across the street (fighting it is more like it) before I realized it was still on Thanks Steven for posting those pix

It did push much easier after we were out of breathe! Great time! Thanks Ray! Thanks to those who brought something for us to work on! I hated seeing that bc bee leave in pieces, but, that just gives us a reason to get together again soon! Thanks for the pics Steven, I "like" them all! Just remember, you friend requested me!

I had a great time. I am getting better with the names, I think? Another great job of hosting,Ray. Keep it up, and you can be in charge of the tech session dept. We should have a club members only swap meet one of these times.( I'll host !) I truly enjoyed the chance to swap lies..er,um, technical experiences with everyone. Thanks one and all!!

I had a good time today although I didn't get my issue resolved and left minus the engine on the buggy. It was nice to be able to put some names to faces. Thank you Ray for hosting the tech session and thanks to Bren, Patrick, Steve, Dave & think a Dan and the rest I forgot! I will have to get out more often to remember everyone.

Thanks again for hosting the Tech Session Ray. I had a good time. It was great seeing familar faces as well as some new ones. Thanks again Tim for turning those drums for me. Unfortunately, I had to leave for work before seeing the results of the fastback tuneup and beetle adjusted rear brakes.

Glad so many made it out. Thanks!
It was great seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. There was quite a variety of cars and work - Its really cool how everyone pitched it.
Thanks for the pics Steven.

WOW !!! That looked like an AWESOME tech session! As much as I wanted to be there, it's a little far to drive right now (700 miles). I'll be there for the next one I hope. Looks like everyone had a GREAT time. I want to thank Ray for all the hospitality he shows everyone. THANKS Ray And a BIG Thanks also to Steve for the great pictures. It helped me to see what was going on.

@ Patrick: Guess somewhere in the back of my head I figured we needed the excercise @ Brian: My rear brakes are PERFECT now, with the exception being maybe some parking break fine tuning As for the Type 3, I never heard it run...not even sure they fired it up, but Pat helped set the valves. We loaded up and left right after that. Thanks again to Ray for hosting the event and to all for the help I got on my bug, it is truely appreciated
