Sounds like I will be free this Sunday. I will be bringing the buggy, need some help/pointers/instruction on what I am doing wrong while trying to get the engine running.

I'm looking forward to this Tech Session as well. I'll be there with 4 brake drums for turning. Other than that I'd like to help out where needed. It sounds like there'll be a few projects there. I really appreciate you hosting this Ray; most gracious of you.

Ray, I found a couple of carbide drills in my stash, should I bring them?? What's needed in the way of eats??

Kenn, please bring what bits you have (just in case).

As far as food; maybe some sort of salad (macaroni, potato, ?) or cookies (they seem to go quick). Anything is appreciated.

Just confirming I shall be there with my half together bug lol. I've got the Cobolt bits, but carbide spares are always nice!
Also bringing the "stuck" flap I have.
Got a few wires I'd like you guys to check too, they are in the engine compartment.
So, for me, the "to do" list while at Ray's:
Lower broken beam bolt removed and replaced (bringing spares of course)
Re-bleed brakes, maybe rear brake adjustment.

I'm not very very VW "smart" but will help wherever I can

Oh, I'm planning on bringing a 24-pack of regular Pepsi to share...hope that is ok?

I will be there for sure. Might also be bringing a buddy from work. He has a rail but won't be bringing it. In addition to getting the engine running I am bring front shocks(need a torch to remove old sleeves from lower mounts), locking spindle nuts and new battery cable to install.

I will grab a bag of chips and some macaroni salad. Looking forward to meeting some of you.
