Rented the new Get Smart movie tonight. As a tribute to the old TV show they showed about 20 seconds of Max driving a sky blue '70 Ghia Convertible. Just like mine originally looked. (Although, I think the TV show Ghia was pre '69).

Ha yea, I am going to look into getting the forums and site setup where I pay a monthly fee and there is no more ads. Then work on getting some VW parts places or shops to pay a few bucks to have their ads on there.

Has anyone considered using Facebook? I'm relatively new to it, but you can create a discussion group--and keep it private, if desired. Just a thought.

I have both Facebook and Myspace but rarely use them. We have the ability on here to have live chat. Also I made a Myspace page for the Club but don't update it very often either. I thought it might be a good resource to find members but I am not sure.

Back to the topic I just saw Get Smart the other day great movie. On another side I just watched Space Balls and I noticed that the hover craft used in the sand scene with Helmet was made from a VW Thing.
