Is that guy from Bay City? I remember reading about a shop up there in some magazine. That car sure looks clean.

Yes, Bay City. He was in Hot VW's. I think his name is Lorenzo. Amazing car.

That car was in Hot Vws the same month I started my hunt for a Beetle. I thought it was a cool representation of what could be done with a Beetle.
While you can barely see it in those photos, that car has a bench seat made from seat belts. I am toying with making seats from seat belts this winter, and have had that car's design in mind. Cool stuff.

Hey Jerry, I believe the volksrod you posted is now in the Dayton, Ohio area. Its very cool and one of my favorites as well. This pic is from Dub Dash 6, I only saw for about a minute.  |

Normally I'm a fan of flat black, but paint would hide all of the amazing metal work put into this car.
