Everyone is invited to the St. Joseph area Good Volks VW get-together! 5:30 - 7 pm, Thursday, September 29 Roxy’s Hamburgers 2629 Cleveland (next to St. Joseph High stadium) Roxy's is a 50's style drive-in, decorated with automotive and 50's memorabilia. Great burgers and root beer floats. Try the "spicy" fries! (they're really quite mild but tasty) roxyshamburgs.com/index.htmThere are quite a few VWs in the area that are not involved in the club. I have been handing out flyers. I am hoping to get more local involvement and new members for the Good-Volks and let them know about the upcoming Bug Run and color tour. I hope you can come. |

Sounds fun, but it is a long, long way from Bugtussle here at almost three hours...

So far, I'm expecting to have my Beetle, a Ghia and a Thing there. I gave a flyer to a Manx buggy. We just need a Bus and a Type 3.
(actually, I'm expecting several beetles, maybe 2 Ghias)

Kathy and I hope to be there , that will take care of having Type 3's represented . Haven't had " Pumpkin " out in awhile , looking forward to it . Hopefully we will get to bring our 3 month old grandson to his first club function...Ted

Ed - Thanks for arranging the get together at Roxy's. Meg and I met a few new people and had a good time.
I handed out a couple of GoodVolks business cards, talked about the webite, and mentioned the Bug Run on Sunday. Hopefully, we'll end up with a few new members.......
