Hey Rudy, Well I have 3 motors I can mount up,was thinking of running the 1915 but said what the Heck and tossed in the 2332 I drove it once with the 2276 this fall just to check out the FTC 2 speed Trans,currant Specs:2332cc Welded German Heads 42x37.5,double springs, Ported By yours Truely ;D 48 IDA's Modified by me welded 84mm Porsche journal Crank Porsche Rods W120 cam(kind of small but works to 7K) 30mm full flow blue printed pump and 3 1/2 qt sump I've been collecting parts for 3yrs for the 'Big" race motor

The "BIG" Motor which is a little smaller then the 2332 ;D 2276cc Stock Case clearanced by me i did the 2332 also Scat 82mm crank,Wedgemated to the 10lbs Flywheel Porsche Journal Carillo Rods Dean Lowery Super Flows(I found a tiny Dino stamped on them) Plus the fact the previous owner kept the valve covers(DinoDynoSoars) Fk89 cam,SLR treated lifters Berg Sump,but May run a Dry Sump pump?? IF I find a deal I've Modified another set of IDA's probably go with larger Vents Still searching for some straght cut cam gears too currant Header is a custom made chrome 1 3/4 mid-engine,Dream on ;D ;DMadmike Attachments:

I still might sell it,It really depends on IF??? I can use it on the 1/8 mile,I will make one pass and find out,probably just go down my road and see if the gearing is right,if I do sell it I'm keeping the Case and just selling all the gearstacks R&P, Shifter Ect. and converting it to a 4speed,do you have a good Mid-engine shifter set up? ;)Madmike

I will have after this weekend. I am running down to NC this weekend to pickup a VW dragster that is setup with a four speed. I will be doing just the oppset as you. Plan is to convert it over to Sand Drags and Hillclimb use. Looks like a nice Jamar shifter init now. I need to find out when I get back what the cost is going to be to build up that trans befor I know if I will be using it.

Wired up the MSD box and started plumbing the Fuel lines ,all stainless steel braided hoses,AN fittings for a nice clean look still waiting on the filter I ordered ;)Then on to the Gages I'm also waiting on ;D

Well Mike (befor I start ordering parts) it looks like you have the transmission I need and I have the transmission you need. Would you toy with the thought of a trade. I have a brand new Jamar Mid Engine Shifter in my rail that hasn't had the linkage trimed to length yet so it can be trimed to fit your rail. I am setting my rail up for sand drags and the FTC two speed is what I run in my other car and would like to use in this one. But since they don't build them anymore used is my only option. Give it some thought and let me know.

I picked up a pair of wheels and mounted the Drag Radials yesterday but looks like I'll need spacers to clear the valve covers Crap!! always sumpthin on custom built race cars that don't quite fit I also picked up a Mid-engine Trans cable shifter so If I need to install the 4speed I can ,I still need to mount the Fuel cell,and breather system,and a few little things to finish it up ;D

Installed the spacers on the live axle now I have the clearance I needed ,also put a anti-submarine belt on it ;D Fuel Cell is mounted & plumbed,waiting on a custom breather mount, then more plumbing I may just use braded blue hose SS is getting expen$ive ;D

Hey Mike, Have you talked to anyone to see if they will let you run your dragster there? I have been emailing the track trying to find out what a VW dragster needs to run and I don't get any replies.
