The Digger has been on hold for awhile  I've been working on the houses Sunroom addition  I picked up a small Fuel Cell for it & a new Gear reduction starter,that was a must for the CR I'm running ;D,Madmike Attachments:

Been raining alot up here so the addition is on hold,I've been in the Garage, I removed the seat belt from the bug to mock up the fit in the dragster,nice snug fit and I feel safer already ;D I pushed it outside yesterday and tore into the POS Ranger motor and just a note for u 2.3 guys it "Didn't" bend the valves when the Timing belt broke  so I'll have a winter vehicle with HEAT ;D ;D Thought I'd be driving the VolksRod this winter atleast for awhile  ,Madmike |

Well I had a little time so I Borrowed the header off my Baja and slapped it on just for $hit&giggels ;D prolly need to pre-heat the cold intake air up here anyhow ;D ;D "It's ALIVE I'm thinkin about takin It for a little spin down the road today if the rain holds off  |

The SunRoom My other 'project' that's sucking up my Dragster $$$ ;D ;D ;D I just know someone will ask "What's the thing on the deck beside the HotTub? It's a Cider press we make our own and Lady's try a Hot Cup of cider with a shot of Hot D**n(Cinnamon Schnapps) mixed in. Heide sure likes it ;)Madmike Attachments:

Well Volks, I know what it's like to be "Shot out of a Cannon"  I took the Digger for a spin down my road yesterday,I Had an "Adrenalin Grin" for awhile after that ;D ;D even on a sandy/dirt road spinning like crazy WHAT A RUSH!!!,a few people told me the gearing is all wrong for the 1/8 mile so I'll have to figure it out or build a 4 speed for it and design a shifter,I had the miled cammed 2276 in it with modified 44 IDF's and big O'l N50 street Tires,Madmike P.S. Hey Bren,Yea I'll prolly add some type of Bar and I Found out a little History on IT from a Racer in Zeeland It's Jon Sorg's old "National Record Holder" Sand Digger,How cool is that!!! and It had a Wing,(I'm trying to buy his old one)but he couldn't remember Jon running wheelie bars |

I picked up a neat little trailer from Jimmy Dean to haul the Digger,just gonna extend it and add a cpl rails,It's a PWC trailer,I already bought new hubs with roller bearings(it had tiny 3/8"wide ball bearings ::)how cheap/chintzy is that?? should be ok now to haul 550lbs Yepper, that's all it weighs ;D |
