Had a great day today on the color tour, abit windy and chilli but a lot of fun Thanks AJ for all your hard work.(YOU DA MAN).Sorry the rest of you could not make it you really missed out. Pics coming soon. see you all next month

Aj as always did an excellent route and was a great host! I would say the meal was average but the facilities were nice. Still saw lots of color and it was neat to see some new faces/cars. Ally was trouble free. I started driving at 9am almost non stop till I got home at 2:30am!!! As many knew my adventures didnt end with dinner. I went to Illinois pick up some new doors for Ally (in Ally!). Chicago was a mess of stop and go traffic. I rolled into the guys place around 7:45 or so. I picked up the doors and checked out his 61 project. It's very solid but really is a shell waitin to get get painted (gives me a glimpse into the future) so I jammed the doors in the back and hit the hyway, rolled in at 2:30am and hit the sack. It was a good day and a fitting last drive of 2011 .

I had a great time! Here are some photos. Lost a few due to an incorrect setting on the camera, but some came out really well! I was taking 2 second movies for a lot of cars by accident...oops. I finally figured it out about half way through the session. Cool picture of everyone on the bridge! The background shows why we do this!  Hmmmm...isn't the engine on the other end of the car?  Pretty colors...cool VW's!  All the colors of the rainbow!  The Pig of Plastic having fun!  A motorized lane-stripe paint scraper...Bren and Marie hit EVERY stick, rock, curb, bump and grain of sand on the trip!  The last known photo of Ally before her coming door transplant!  Ray proudly showing off his new fog lamps!  Doublecab Delight! You can't see his 6-month old security system...but rest assured, you might get licked to death!  Dustin having fun, but wishing he was on the drags tip!  Tha...tha...thats's all folks! It was a GREAT time! Dave |

Tia and I had a good time!!! She was a little mad I didn't bring her any chicken from the resturant, she could smell it on me. Cindy {my wife} really liked the butterscotch pie I brought her for sweetest day. I am bummed I forgot my camera. Thanks AJ for the hard work. I think the women were enjoying the colors and the men were just junkin' as my wife calls it. Thanks!!!!
