Tech Session-Update, Oct.,9th

The past sessions were at my shop (Lawton, MI), but that doesn't mean we can't meet at someone else's place. Just need to know what type of work, so we can bring the needed tools.

If balancing wheels, turning drums or some other floor equipment is needed; we might want to hold it at my place again.

I'd be anxious to go to a tech session. Couldn't make it to previous ones, but wished I could.

Re-indexing the rear torsion arms shouldn't be a problem. Were you thinking of coming to Lawton? The sessions usually start at noon and get over whenever you wish to leave or around 8pm. I supply the soft drinks, water and somethings to eat (sloppy joes, chips, etc).

You might want to purchase new bushings while you are in the torsion tubes.

I would really like to attend again but we are leaving for Hesston, KS. (50th class reunion) on the 21st and not returning until the 30th.
If it will be after that date count me in.
I may be ready to assemble the engine by then. ;D

October 9th comes to mind. Its a week after the Bug Run (fix what might have broken) & just before the Color Tour, to have your VW ready to go.

We'll start @noon, finish up around 8pm. Let us know what you need done. As in the past; there's no charge for any of the work, just bring what parts you might need (there's parts stores open on Sunday too). I'll have snacks, water, soft drinks and sloppy joes.
