Picked up this Ghia last night. Has new brakes, its from CA and is a really clean car until you notice how modified it is. It has a windshield chop, custom top, flared fenders all the way around, its a 61 but has later front turn signals etc. Quick project it has a dual carbed dual port, I intend to get it running and driving then sell.

What wheels are on it? They look like centerlines, but its hard to tell.

Any chance you want to sell them? Bren may need them for his drag bug.

I thought about keeping them for myself but i already have a set on the double cab. I dont have any spare steal rims to replace them with and figured they would help move it anyway.

Dan, Think its a real convertible have to check into it. At this point its so heavily modified its kind of a mute point. It does have several tell tale signs like vert rear view mirror etc indicating it is a true vert. Here are some pictures I took yesterday afternoon unloading will take more once its cleaned up.

Pretty cool car, Bren's smoothies would probably look better with the look this car has.

Pretty cool car, If the bumpers, turn signals were shaved it would be even better. It has a Porsche Speedster feel to it.

Looks lots better clean. Im diggin the interior. The wheels are way wrong for the car. Black 5 spokes or some fuchs would be the way to go. If I was looking for this sort of thing Id really dig it. The top is crap though. Wonder how much you could fix that right for. As I think that is going to be the major stumbling block to flipping it. How bought some engine pics just for grins. Oh and Id also just cut the whole front bumper assy off and sell it bare.

I actually like the top too but I guess thats opinion, it's built neat so the windows roll up into it and help it seal, besides when do you run a vert with the top up. I hope it moves but not worried about it. This is hopefully going to be moved quick and cheaper before I sink money in it making it less affordable. The guy i bought it from had bought it off ebay and flew out and towed it home with a uhaul. Being a Cali car with California title I'm confident that will help it sell. But I am very sure it would take the righ interested party because of its mods. According to the eBay listing he gave me with the car from when he bought it motor is a 1776, it's a AF serial number AS41 case with new heads from a quick inspection, I'll clean it up next and take a picture.
