I assume everybody knows who they are, but in case you don't, I highly recommend Rock Auto for mail-order car parts. www.rockauto.comI have used them in the past, and for kicks and giggles I needed to put front brakes on the Saturn, and decided to put rotors on it as well. The shipping was over $20, but $12 per rotor for Bendix rotors and $17 for ceramic pads can't be beat. They do VW stuff too. When I had a Squareback replaced both rotors and disk-brake pads for about $155, and I bought the best rotors and pads available. I try to get things locally when I can, but it seems I can get better stuff for a lot less money here. By the way, if you have to do rotors and pads on a Saturn, it's about 15 minutes a side. Dave

I used them
On Wifeys Blazer the little plastic thingy that attaches to the remote solenoid to pop open the rear latch broke. Of course smart GM never installed a manual way to open the rear hatch. Either push the button on the inside or outside to remotely activate the solenoid. When the plastic connector breaks the solenoid still works but never pulls the lever to open the hatch.
After a trip to GM Dealer I was told it would cost about $600 to fix. Due to the fact that they actually have to break the interior plastic panel to gain access to the plastic part. So you end up purchasing a new interior panel and the plastic part.
But GM does not just sell the plastic clip they only sell the whole assembly solenoid, wire harness, and plastic clip all as a set for $150.
After many hours of searching on the Internet (seems like its a very common problem with Blazers). One forum says just call Rock Auto and they will get what you need.
So for $9.95 plus shipping my plastic thingy / clip arrived in the mail.
Plus I got a bonus 2 plastic thingys / clips came in the same package
Now I have a spare
Its been 5 years now and the new plastic thingy / clip has out lasted the original one from GM.
