Thanks to Bren, Dustin, Steven, AJ, Dave and everyone else who helped man the booth. Like it has been said before really nice to put faces with names. I think we did an outstanding job of getting the word out, everyone I meet and talked to showed great interest in the coming events. Money well spent to promote and spread the word. I bought quite a bit, a dash panel, complete with switches and power port, and a bunch of Thing diecast toys, renewed my script to Hot Vw's, some parts for my brother-in-laws buggy and had a genuine great time. Again great talking and meeting you all, Later Kenn

I managed to make a little room in the garage, thanks to Steven, Jerry, and AJ (and Dustin and Carlos) and, I didn't buy anything to fill that new found space, although I saw a pair of Treuhaft valve covers that were calling my name. We didn't get to stay long, family things, but, had a good time. Thanks for everything, Goodvolks!

I picked up a yellow roller pedal for my custom stretched pedal assembly that I am currently working on. I snagged up some braided German hose. I purchased a VDO voltmeter and a oil temp gauge with sending unit. I did not like the temp sending unit so I purchased the one for the oil drain pan.
Thanks to Kenn I grabbed 4 early Bay Bus rims with tires.
Thanks to Steven for entering my name in the drawing I won a solar battery maintainer.

The swap meet was great fun. Aki found the floor pan he wanted, and I found some great toys, even a didgeridoo! Aki has been practicing on the didjerido. Our youngest grandson convinced me to open the two pack of VWs, a bus and a bug. He then walked happily around the house, one in each hand. He also liked the my "car T-shirt."
Great photos, Steve.
Thanks, everyone, for your hard work. We had a great time. The food was great, by the way:)
Michele
We got there at 11:00 and left around 3:30. It wasn't ennogh time for me to look all booth. I got correct floor pan for my bus. I couldn't refuse good deal on a backet full of many junky stuff for only$2.00. I got a free carb cover, I don't need it. I need to learn flom Kenn how to negotiate the price. We'll definetlly come back to this meet next year. Thank you all helped setting up our booth.

I look like I just sat on my stool at the booth all day. Nice. Thanks to all that helped with this. Made the day go fast and easy for everyone. I agree that it was time and money well spent. We gave out many flyers and talked to many people about the club, the bug runs, the spring Holland show, the MVVC show and many other things. This year we definatly got the word out to many more people than last year. I talked to half of the vendors and Dustin the other half. The ones I talked to were very excited about the free swap and vendor spaces. I hope they all show up and we struggle to find room for them all! Sounds like everyone still had plenty of time to shop. I know I did. Did not buy much, drivers-side window regulator, heater hose boots, gauge holder, and a brake/clutch pedal stop; nothing exciting. It was nice to meet some new people, especially those we only type at. Thanks again everyone. It was great to see the participation!

Wow. That was a great idea to go there and get the word out about future events and our club. Now that I have completed my daughters room and are in a waiting stage again (Still no Visa yet ) I will have more time to help out with events and meetings and such. Thanks. John in Plainwell
