OK I know it's early but does anyone in the club feel the need to get a couple of swap spots(or more) at the BB.Swap. We could do it as a club event if you will to get rid of some of our hidden treasures(junk) and maybe help someone else with the junk we don't want or need? and even help with getting the word out about our main event The Bug Runs. What does everyone think good idea or not?? I thought about this last year but not in time to make it happen. I'll spear head the effort if you want. It maybe just a Marketing Ploy from the "Marketing Guy"you never know. It could also help the club raise some cash for wanted stuff like T-shirts/ hoodies/ clings/ a pop-up/coolers and such and sell some Ts and clings. And hand out cards. THINK ABOUT IT, how it should happen, any input will help. Later Kenn Sunday, March 22nd, 2009; 10:30am - 4:00pm
www.buggybuilders.com/-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is an update on the Buggy Builders Show.... US131 is paying for our booth. The booth will be utilized for promoting the Bug Runs, US 131 motorsports park, and The Good Volks. We will display our banner along with one from US131. We will have a couple posters for the Bug Runs from US 131 to display. We will have Bug Run flyers to pass out to all the vendors and to hand out at the booth. We will have US131msp 2009 schedules to hand out at the booth. We will be able to hand out flyers at our booth to promote the Good Volks also. (Who wants to be responsible for these?) We can sell Good Volks materials like T-shirts, Clings, and Calendars.

Kenn, I will volunteer to help out any way I can, since I live right here in Lansing. I do have some odds and ends that I would donate to the cause

An event like that would be good for the club. If I have the time and some notice about the weekend its on, I could volunteer to help man a booth or the booth. Kirby

Good idea Kenn. Having a booth also gets you into the show earlier I believe. We need to make sure we have bug run flyers by this date. I will contact the track.

Are we going to do this? Should we reserve a spot as a club? What would we do with this spot? Obviously we promote the club and our events including the bug runs. Do we sell donated items to raise money for the club? What about selling items for individuals also?

I think we should do this, Sell donated items and some member items as well but obviously put some sort of limit on it.

Hey ya all, I'm game I have a few items to donate and a few to sell. Do we take up a collection to pay for a spot or two. Contact the buggy builders to see if they will give us as a club a break, Spethanie said anything about a donation from the track to advertize the Bug Runs?? Or do we just suck it up and spend the money. I'd take one spot for the club, Steven and me anyone else want to join in? with either parts or what ever. Last time I did the swap I sold more from the pictures I had on a board then off the table, you'll sell as much before the doors open, then after. Last time there was a limit of one trailer per spot or you carried it in by hand, not fun. Later Kenn

I will help pay for a spot. I also like the chance to get in early as well as not having to wait in that huge line!

Is a spot still $75. if so do you have the info on reserving a spot? I don't own a credit card, but have the cash in hand. Anyone else? or is Steve, Dustin and me? I'm not sure how many it includes with the spot, last time it was 3 and you could buy more passes. Lets get this rollin' Later Kenn
