My calculations show I will be reducing 75lbs from the car with the battery and rim changes. Not to mention the rotating mass reduction. Sweet! I can't wait to see the time slip. |

Got the Battery installed; sure looks tiny in there!  Finished up the 'winter work' on the car and took it outside for a couple photos:    Looking forward to the first test and tune; April 6th! |

Who is going to pre-stage all these for you, so you can jump from car to car to run down the track?  ?  Are you going to race the Westy, too? ? You are going to NEED a Semi carhauler to get all these to the track... |

Haha.
I hope to tow the 64 race bug behind the Westy to the Bug Run's.
That is my goal. I just think it would be cool to show up at the track in a '69 bus pulling a '64 race beetle.

Thanks for the compliments all. I am really happy with the way it looks now.
Can't wait to get it on the track and see what the changes do for it.
