What is the Bullet? Any ideas? Coil is next to try. It is brand new from CB. Could be bad I suppose. Not the coil or the coil wire.
- Next plug and
coil wires. Will burrow from sandrail. I know they are good.
- Then distributor/pertronix. It was moved over from the sandrail. But it could be bad.
- If all that does nothing then I will eliminate the msd box.
But before I do all of that I plan to double check to make sure I have the msd etc. all wired correctly.

Sounds like you have a good plan to isolate the problem.

Or?? Maybe it's just to light and the wind blows out the flame? Add about 100lbs to see if that helps?? LOL!! 25 lbs per corner ought to work!??

Got the loaner motor in: Made up a temporary rear apron. Just can't bring myself to cut the original apron for the stinger. It is just too nice.

Finally, the Friday before the bug run I got the car dialed in. Discovered the brake switch I was using on the staging brake to control the two step rev limiter was bad. Was sending a signal to the MSD constantly and therefore cutting the revs. Then discovered that the tach was not set up for 4cyl. I think I need a crew chief. I had a long term goal of racing at the Spring Bug Run and I made it. Feel really good about that. Really appreciate all the help I have had along the way. Now onto the video: Time Trial: First round win; sorry David: Second round loss to Eric:

Way to go Bren! You've got a really nice car. The time & work you've put into it shows.

Thanks guys. It is very satisfying to be at this stage with the car. I am now running the motor Greg built.
