What does everyone think about me bringing the 66? If I take it I gotta tow cuz of some deliveries I need to make with the van (fullsize e150). Do you guys cruize after this thing? Towing is not a big deal but costs a little extra gas. Then again it might be the last time to have it out till spring..... Whatcha all think?? I was going to do the autocross with it but its been moved to Sunday so I cant go to that. If I tow it and it just sits outside in the rain then I tow it home thats just kinda silly.

If you want to bring it I would really like to see it and this will be the last chance until next years show season. Do what you feel is best. We have had a couple cruises but do not have one planned for this GTG.

I'll have to get home right after the gtg, so I will not be able to go for a cruise, even though I would like too. Are still planning on 5 o'clock or close to it.

yes 5pm, I'm pretty sure we are not cruising anyway Jerry. Its supposed to be crappy weather and not many people are going to drive their VW's if any.

Well as of right now I'm towing Ally (Mcbeetle) over. Ally is actually pretty watertight and I'll be comming a bit early so I can do some cruising on my own and check out GR, it's been a couple of years since I've been there. And let's face it I'm putting her to bed after this till spring so I might as well have some fun!

If the weather not going to be good then my bug won't be coming. Also Clem (the car) has decided that it perfers warm weather and the sun. I'm down to one brake light and blinker on the left side and a revese light on the right. Plus the hole in the top, water tight it is not. I'll probably be there in a 99 Blue New Beetle, my borrowed car until I get my owe back.

We're all set for tomorrow at 5 P.M. the reservation is under the Goodvolks. It sounds like the weather is going to be pretty bad tomorrow, rain and snow mix, either way I'll be there in my beetle.

Dustin and Club, I won't be coming as my cousin decided to say an extra week. I also have some interior fixing to do on my Mom's house due to the new roof that went on earlier this week. I'll try to come to the next one.

Ok..Ok.... I was wrong. The weather really really sux. I underestimated Michigan weather (again!!) So.... Im comming....... the stuff I promised is comming....... But Ally (66 bug) aint. She stuck one tire outside and basically said "OH.. NO WAY IN HELL!!!" and then slinked back into the garage (prima donna Ally is!) So Im not dragging her to GR in the sleet and stuff. But hey Im comming!  I have visions of ending up in the ditch with both cars. If I trash the van Im ok with that but the bug!! No im not ok with that. Sooooooo Next spring Ill be doing lotsa long distance with her but it will just have to wait. Dan |

Understandable Dan,
I wouldn't take mine out in the Snow, Sleet either. It will be nice to meet you and get some parts and we can all have fun in a few months with the cars again.
Sorry to hear you aren't coming Kirby. Hope we see you at the X-Mas party.

I guess Steven, AJ and I are stopping off to help John W get his engine back in the bug. Along with the rest of the crew. Then we're driving up to GR in an invisible. Ruffuss agrees with Alley, NO way, No how, it ain't happening. So see ya all there minus Ruffuss. Till Later Kenn
