Glad that everything turned out better then expected. Sounds like all will be good soon bren, just hang tight and you will get the setup that you should have had.

Clinton,
I have read some stuff about running the pistons backwards but not alot. They said it puts extra strain on the motor and is risky.

Clinton, I have read some stuff about running the pistons backwards but not alot. They said it puts extra strain on the motor and is risky. Well here is the scoop. The Formula V's and off road 1600cc class guys have been flipping the pistons over for years. Why? it tricks the rod by putting it just past top dead center so with the rod being just past TDC it has better leverage at detonation creating more power.

Motor is done. I get to pick it up tonight! Should be able to get it back in and test it out before the car must be put away. Sure is tempting to put it in the blue car.

Remember this guy is laid-off as of Friday at 2:30 until Feb. we could stick it back in anytime after that. Can't wait to hear it run even if it whoops Ruffuss's as-butt again just like old times hah. Later Kenn PS The door can wait a week or so. KRD.

Nope, camera is fine, just a ploy to get you over here to help put it back in the car. I see it did not work. I am confident this will now finally be the motor I was after in the beginning. I can't wait to find out! Here are the photos:

Looks very nice indeed, But I always thought you weren't supposed to paint the engine case because of heat dissipation.
