Hello everyone,
I'm a college student who lives in Holland now but will be living in Manistee in the summers. I am 19 and have had a '73 AS bug for about a year now and I love it! I have lots of things I want to do to it eventually and can't wait to get together with fellow VW lovers and hopefully learn lots of stuff from you all!

Welcome Nick. There are several members in the Holland area; though I'm not one of them. The folks in this club are great at answering questions, don't be shy. I hope you can make a few car shows before going to Manistee.

Hey Nick,
Glad you signed up, I do have an Autostick Super that I have owned for about 10 years or more now haha I cannot remember exactly how long. I do plan to convert it to 4spd soon though as I am getting into drag racing with it and the 22 second 1/4's its been pulling just aren't cutting it lol

I know how you feel, Dustin. I plan to either convert mine or just look for a manual at some point in the future. But for now the AS definitely works. Let me know how the conversion goes when you do it.. I'd be very interested in knowing more about how to do that.
