Thanks Mike, I may have to make a run North, if I can't get Clinton to swap them out and dial them in. I can't even get it started again? ?? It pops just no rev-roommm. Think I fouled another set of plugs and my back doesn't take kindly to bending, reaching and stooping. Thanks!

Ray: I heard rumors about a hoist. Is that available? I would love to put the bug in the air to install my mid-mount.
What is anyone else planning to do or try to do with their cars? Bren

I am afraid that I will not be able to attend. Sorry. The Bus is still broken, The Ghia is burning oil and its kind of to cold to drive it with no heat, and the latest problem my Wifes Blazer will not start it only pops but no vroom. More damage was caused to the Blazer getting it home and that too will need to be fixed. So more time working on cars because I HAVE to not because I WANT to.
Currently we are down to 1 car. As of now I have no idea how long it will take me to fix everything up. So sorry if I have let people down but things must come first.

Bren, There is a lift you & others are welcome to use. It would be a good idea to get a list of what type of work members are thinking of, to get a sense of equipment/tool usage. I have plenty of hand tools and a variety of shop equipment. If you need a welder; I have a 255amp mig welder. Let me know if you have any questions or if I can do anything ahead of time.
For those coming; please let us know what type of work you're thinking of. I have a high speed balancer (not sure it will work on the pre-68 5 lug wheels), a sandblast cabinet if you wish to clean off parts and repaint them, 20 ton press, small mill/lathe, belt sander, grinders and other misc tools. Again, please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks, Ray

So, um. Is anyone bringing anything to work on besides me? Kenn, are you bringing ruffuss? Anyone else? I'd hate to be the only one doing anything; and I don't plan to do too much. Anyone have something they are struggling with? Maybe something big to you is easy to someone else willing to help. Ray, anything you are wanting help with on your new '67? (Steve, bring your rail! We could make it the club project! Can't wait to see that on the track.) AJ, bring the bus down and let us all help you get it done.

My 67 bug is in "running condition". I plan on a body off project to replace the rear shelf and floor pans. The heater channels might be done as well. There's also a section of sheetmetal between the gas tank and radio that someone cut out (6"x8") This being said... I won't start on it till I get my other projects done (1975 Honda CB750, 1977 CT70, and the 2000 Miata needs a new pull up resistor to get the tach working along with new resonator stubs welded in to get a little back pressure so the O2 sensors register better)
Teamafx - I'm almost sure my brake lathe will handle the front & rear drums. We can measure them to be sure they're still in spec. I should have the tools we'll need for brakes and electrical work.
Look'n forward to meeting everyone. -Ray

Sorry guys(and gals) but I'm going to have too bow out. Saturday is the last hay sale at Middlebury(that I can attend). So make money instead of spend money this time around. Beside Ruffuss has bad rear wheel bearings, that I haven't gotten yet. And really don't want to tow him anywhere until I get it replaced. Thanks for the offer of help! Kenn

I've decided to drive the car through the summer before starting in on the major stuff. With this in mind; I'll need to do some repairs. If time permits maybe we can look at replacing the rear axle bearings & seals (need to get them today) Other work if it works out - Z-bar is rattling?, Gear box seems loose (over center adjustment?), Windows roll up/down super hard? -Ray

I would love to bring the 69, but no trailer to bring it down with, and that might be a bit much of a project to bring to a gtg .
